The saxophonist François Jeanneau surprises as always his public. In his new album, « Quand se taisent les oiseaux », he takes us to a trip on unexpected roads, by praising the power of nature, as reflected by the titles of his compositions. François Jeanneau leads an international career as jazz musician since the 60’s and toured everywhere in the world with his own trios and quartets.

François Jeanneau has influenced the French jazz evolution in different ways. He defends with passion the multidisciplinary language of real time composition/improvisation called " sound painting ". « The saxophonist François Jeanneau has opened new ways (and voices) of jazz in France. The place left free for improvisation constitutes one of the main milestones of his work, at the same time instrument player, composer and director. » - L’Humanité
